A down to earth character that is sympathetic and hard working. He had to scrape his way to the top of the cultivation world starting from literally nothing. Relapsed more than once, hurt more often than not. left behind easily. Makes you the reader want to cheer for him from the beginning and support him any which way we could. 

Well worth the read so far. 

Good story telling overall.
