Surviving The Game As A Barbarian

Recommended Posts

Hansu Lee is a twenty-nine-year-old game addict who has devoted almost a decade of his life to beating the notoriously difficult game Dungeon & Stone. When he finally reaches the boss monster, a status window appears with the message "Tutorial Complete," followed by a blinding light. Suddenly, Hansu is transformed into a barbarian named Bjorn Yandel inside the world of the game-but it's no longer just a game, it's actually real! With nothing but the weapon in his hand and his prior knowledge of the game, Bjorn must fight for his life in a world full of deadly monsters-and conceal his true identity to avoid execution-in a real-life battle for the survival of the fittest.

Have come off reading up to the season 1 end of the Manhuwa. Would recommend this to get picked up, as it's a great story, with an intelligent MC who always knows how to/is forced to roll with the bad odds and abysmal luck. Interesting leveling system, fun mystery based around the world and his situation, and the Manhuwa provides a great accompaniment to reading the novel. It is being official translated on Yonder as well, but the coin system there is cumbersome and difficult to work with, unlike Wuxiaworld's karma, so would very much like to read it on here.

wait, does that mean it can't get picked up here? I've seen some novels on Yonder that are on here as well.

Those novels are translated by Wuxiaworld and licensed by Yonder from WW. Even Tapas licensed those translated novels from WW.

Right, so that means unless we get the rights to the novel it's only able to be read/translated on Yonder?

If we means 'Wuxiaworld' then they don't publish a translated work. WW license the raw novel for English translation. Tapas and Yonder license some of the translated work from WW. I guess it's more profitable for them.

Luckily, we've successfully reached out to the conservative Jayple Media and are in discussions about licensing titles from them. However, as rkumar mentioned, we prefer not to bring translated works because we aim to introduce titles that are not yet known, offering readers the thrill of discovering new stories. I'll check if we can include any top titles instead.
