Transient Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 You shouldn't be able to leave a review for a novel until after you've read a given number of chapters for that novel. This would be a novel to novel basis. Take for example, new novels. When new novels come out of sneak peak there are usually a certain number of free, non-karma chapters that are available. You shouldn't be able to review said novel without reading all of those chapters or maybe even half. Personally, when I see reviews of a 500+ chapter novel & the reviewer only read 5-10 chapters, I can't take the rewiew seriously. I believe it also doesn't accuratly give the novel a good or bad % rating. I understand not every reviewer will finish a novel but at the very least, they should get through the prologue. This is especially apparant with novels that don't have a high number of reviews.
