Understanding the Wuxia System - Overgeared

Recently, I returned to reading novels, specifically Overgeared, and I noticed that it has been completed. Since I used to consume many chapters per day, it was more cost-effective for me to pay for the Champion subscription. However, I decided to stop paying because I needed to focus on defending my PhD. Now that I’ve returned, I see that the Champion option is no longer available, as the novel has concluded.

While browsing the website, I saw that there’s an option to purchase eBooks of complete novels. However, Overgeared is not available yet. There’s also the option through Amazon, but the chapters available barely cover 20% of the story.

Further research led me to discover the Diamond VIP option, which grants access to complete novels, but this option is no longer available for new users.

Considering that it may take a considerable amount of time before all the eBooks for Overgeared are released, due to the high standards of Wuxia, and with the Champion and VIP options disabled, am I, as a user, forced to spend Karma to read all the chapters as I wish?

I’m not opposed to spending money to buy chapters as a form of support, but just for understanding, Overgeared has 2059 chapters, with an average of 30 Karma per chapter, totaling 61,770 credits, which amounts to approximately 300 dollars. I live in Brazil, and with the dollar at 5.67 BRL, I would have to pay 1,637.40 BRL just to read one novel.

I understand that it’s expensive to acquire licensing rights, maintain web infrastructure, and so on. However, as a user, I feel frustrated because I want to consume the content, I want to pay, but I can't afford to spend such an exorbitant amount of money by my standards, especially when there were other ways to show support for older readers.

So, to finalize my analysis and question: am I, as a reader, currently forced to spend a considerable amount of money on Karma just to read Overgeared until the eBooks are made available, or is there another option within the Wuxia system that I’m unaware of?

Since Overgeared completed translation, it is no longer has a Champion. The other way to read a completed Korean Novel aside from VIP Diamond and Karma is Wait to Unlock (WTU), or purchase the Ebook copy from Ebooks page (only if the Ebook is available on the list).
