Wilson123 Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Hello! I am new to this forum, and wanted to make a hail-mary request of the translators here. Myself and many other Star Wars fans like myself have been waiting for an official translation of this novel, Vow of the Silver Dawn, for years. It is the only Chinese-only Star Wars novel ever released, and has only had a few fan-translators make the attempt to translate the novel into English, but all of those translators have stopped pretty quickly into the process. For other fans like myself this is pretty frustrating, and has remained the only novel in the canon that I've never had the chance to read. Since I recently translated a Star Wars book from Spanish myself over the past year, I thought I'd check in on this novel because I don't speak any Chinese unfortunately. That search led me to Wuxiaworld. I know that Star Wars is a big brand, but I'm hoping it's possible to get the license to translate this novel, and I'm positive it would be read by many fans like myself. I also know that Star Wars has a lot of terms and phrases that don't necessarily translate well unless the reader knows the franchise fairly well, but I hope that there is enough demand for this book that Wuxiaworld decides to license the novel. Thank you for your consideration! - Wilson
