whats the difference between Regular karma and Golden Karma?

When I started reading new novels, I noticed that you need regular karma to read a chapter. However, I’ve never seen "golden karma" used for this purpose.

Can golden karma be used when you run out of regular karma, or is it intended for other purposes?

There isn't a practical difference, it's just that Golden Karma can only be acquired by purchasing it, whereas Regular Karma is acquired from the daily check in and from posting comments. Regular Karma will always be spent first, until the balance is no longer enough to unlock the chapter. After that, Golden Karma will be spent. (The two types can't be combined when unlocking a chapter).
