Nope, none were ever. A lot of the more successful writers ended up moving to other sites. However, if you really do commit, Ren could potentially still promote.
Oh, I understand completely. It's fine. As long as you keep writing you'll develop your own style. Like when I started, I copied stuff from avatar, kingdom, cd, etc. etc. But now a year later I've begun working on my own style, and it's pretty unique and I'm happy with it. And honestly, if you were to be promoted to the front page of WuxiaWorld, you should be able to earn some steady money while continuing to improve yourself, so it's honestly worth it to keep writing and hope. The forums is also a good place for you to get feedback from readers. One of my greatest regrets in moving off of the forums with my first novel was that the amount of input I got as to what I was doing correctly to engage readers and what I was doing wrongly basically went to zero.
Is the PG-13 rule just to keep the pornos at bay or does it also limit violence?
Okay so, what does PG-13 actually mean? lol Like, if there's lots of profanity, vulgarity and violence, but no actual sex, does that still fall under the criteria? For example, my stories "Hardcore OP-ness" and "The Dao of Eros" don't really have any sexual content until pretty far into the stories. Could I post the first few dozen chapters that don't have sex in them or is the profanity a big deal?
Is this event still active? The curated Wuxiaworld section? Or not... I've seen sooo many other authors post their writing here with few comments, and I just started recently. Is it, or no?
