This was what I was wondering as well. Is there a way to receive an email whenever something (in my case tdg) is updated?

yes email notifications are gone, they said the site was getting pretty big for email notifications, there is a new notification system, it is still in its early stages but along with the mobile app coming out it could work pretty well

I just set getting the ww rss feed in my email with https://blogtrottr.com/  . The rss feed still updates when chapters are release which should make this work like an email notification for new chapters.

Just to follow up, the blogtrottr method I described worked great for getting email notifications.
