Could you guys recommend me some novels?
What I am looking for is a novel with the hero who became stronger and increase in power ranks (like most of the novel), and an unheroic attitude, meaning either the protagonist lives with real struggle to just survive (and so use any way possible to survive), the hero is totally shameless (funny way or vicious way).or filled with vengeance against the world. (Basically, a hero with little or no honor, with the mentality: if it keep me alive or make me stronger, better do it)
For example: Funny shameless hero: Tales of demons and God
Vicious shameless hero: Warlock of the Magic World
Struggle to survive: the parts in the mountain range of magical beasts in Coiling Dragon
Filled with vengeance: Renegade immortal (I am not very far in this one, so maybe I am wrong)

- Demon’s Diary: If you liked Warlock of the Magus World, you will come to love Demon’s Diary.
- Long Live Summons: Funny, shameless Hero, who trolls allot. But is also often serious, and even give you the taste of a “vicious hero who is filled with vengeance.”
- A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, Kings Shura, and Ze Tian Ji: Novels, which are right up your alley, and I suggest that you give them a try!
- My Own Novel: Fits your criteria. The protagonist grows stronger, increases in power (ranks) and struggles with real-life issues. For instance, they are poor, and his mother suffers from a grave illness.
For the vengeance, as I have seen, a lot of novels have a big bad guy against wich the hero seeks revenge, but not the whole world. They often put a very manichean setting (there is the bad guys and the good guys and nothing between it). When I talked about filled with vengeance, i really meant it. It's about somebody trusting no one and using everybody. For example, not Coiling Dragon (I know, again with it, but it's the only one completed that I finished). While the hero often seeks vengeance for his family, it's only directed against one guy or group. In opposite, in Renegade Immortal, the hero hates nearly everybody, is cautious of everybody knowing that betrayal can happen anywhere, ...
Finally, many heroes are goody willy. (Douluo dalu, immortal throne, ...), protecting honor of the family, avenging a dead realtive, ... Rarely doing things for themselves.
And other example of shameless hero (but not chinese) is Moonlight Sculptor: the hero uses any means to gain money, never give his trust immediatly, constantly works hard (yes, I know a lot of novel put hard-working hero. But you rarely feel it. Example: Immortal Throne: they just say in one sentence that he is hard-working. You never feel a real struggle).
Edit: I think I expressed myself wrongly. When I talk about shameless, it's more in the meaning of honorless, cunny, using even underhanded methods. Example: Nie Lie from TDG rarely had a difficult battle, always having a large advantage, and always crushed his enemies miserably, showing no mercy.
True Martial World and Martial World because the main characters are hard working.
Magus Era is a pretty amazing read with a pretty unique cultivation system. Plus the main character actually has a pretty awesome master who gives out powerful items like candy. Except, the main character is still forced to struggle just to keep the human race alive despite this.
Can you read Chinese? If you can then here's a lot more to recommend.

but due to many un foreseen events cause to mc to give up on living a normal life and do what he desire. theirs plenty of action and drama and like i say it's build in modern time the harem is pretty big tho .-. but un like some story's most of the woman in it have a character and not just some fuck toy the mc is a full fledged bad ass with no one as his master or who he bow down to except for maybe his mother and wife at times >_>

I for one may like this one more then the one above. at some times this books mc is a true bad ass born to be wild and not any one in this world can control him even his wives can barely stop him at times genres or similar to above.

most people think he is an idiot because of his straightforwardness and over the top ways of getting rid of trouble but it is the complete opisit he is shown to be one of the wises and smartest man in the book he just prefers to get rid of trouble the fastest way he knows by just destroying who ever gets in his way due to no matter how smart you are against absolute power it is nothing. Only when he can't use absolute power he relys more on his brain and uses some really crule ways to do it.
