  • Sephiroth from Final Fantasy :)
If you'd like more chapters of ISSI or Tales send me a note on patreon!
  • Griffith from Berserk , he just feels overwhelming.
Johan from Monster , the charisma of the devil.
    L from Death Note , he might not be a villian , but he was the antagonist of the 1st part and well you know he's funny ,crazy and a genius , how can you not love him c;

  • hmm... lets see:

Aizen from Bleach, if you read Bleach, you probably know why he is.
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, that's a given

I probably could state around 10 more if I could look at my anime/manga/game list :D
  • Makishima Shogo from psycho pass

  • Andrew Ryan from Bioshock, because of his philosophy and the greatest plot-twist in the history of games IMHO

    Doflamingo from OP
Have faith in the Lord Fifth, gain eternal life! When the Lord Fifth appears, who dares to cause strife!
  • Joker from Gods Among Us (comic). Reason being that it showed just how sadistic he is. Re-enacted a scene from preN52.. Only it replaced Diana with Lois and Max with Joker and TP with poison.

It also showed what a potent mind he has for Batman to not be able to subdue him. In his words, he only played Superman because he was truly tired of losing to Batman.

On the hero side Saitama the One punch man. One might expect him to be simple, but he is not. Worked his way out from a corporate world, and left a legecy and the Foundation for Hero Association in his wake.

Born a man with no god gifted abilities, he broke the realm of limitations imposed by God himself to become someone of unrivaled potentia.

Saitama truly explores the idea of hardwork can achieve virtually anything and at the same time teaches us that there is no gain without pain.

Maybe the hot demon queen type milfs that sometimes plays the evil character.

Otherwise maybe Gilgamesh from the Fate series. His character isn't the coolest, but his kit and abilities by themselves are just way too cool.

Gate of Babylon. One of the coolest named, coolest designed, most awesome skills ever created.

    >"ultimate expression of overwhelming force."

Many antagonists in stories are really just a bunch of nubs that are just mid-boss tier characters in the grand scheme of things, true antagonists need to be final boss tier.

However true final bosses are usually far too OP and exemplar to attempt to comprehend and associate with, like a human facing some many multi-dimensional creature.

Hence it's difficult to consider them "favourites" even though many are super super OP and have cool skills and etc etc, many of them being far more powerful than Gate of Babylon.

Demigod tier antagonists are more easy to comprehend. Gilgamesh is in that sort of range, where his character and skillset is comprehendable.

There are far more powerful skills and shit out there, shit like rending space and time, creating black holes etc etc. But Gate of Babylon beats them all in terms of design, and the sense of oppressiveness it brings about.

Like those scenes in movies and shit, during a olden age battle, where you see a huge array of arrows in the sky and in first person you see them them all coming at you.

Seeing the whole sky turn a unique shade, and countless "threats" appearing one by one, all targeted at you. Each being able to output tons of damage and likely 1hko you.

Perfect for those many cases where the MC seems to be weak and shit. Great antagonists basically seem human, but also seem unkillable, especially after you see them utilise their strength. If you were a MC in the early stage of your growth, facing a non-friendly dood with a skill like this would feel oppressive as fk.

There are many types of weapons also, each of them have unique skills and shit, so there's also a ton of versatility there. And in the end, it's pretty much like a treasury which signifies the wealth of an individual - the more powerful it is the more wealthy you are considered to be.

Damn. Too cool a skill basically.
  • I would tell Kira from Death Note but he is antagonist so i pick L. Their fight is epic.
Also Makishima Shougo from Psycho Pass is nice.
From all Fate/Stay series Kotomine Kirei. I pick him over Gilgamesh becouse he is good at deceiving others. But Gilgamesh is also cool, his superiority over others etc.

I think Archer skills are better. Also in new F/S Night he is even more OP(new version is so much better than the old one).

Btw. it's rreally hard to pick someone becouse most of the times you remember MC not villian. Also after watching, reading so much you forgot about a lot of them.

akainu from OP because while he is technically on the side of "good" guys, he is evil
    Understand basic grammar:
    Your vs You're
    There vs Their vs They're
    Defiantly vs Definitely
    Loose vs Lose
    Than vs Then
    To vs Too
    NO 'Should/Could of'

  • think about it if you want to conquer the world and make Saitama your enemy  you're doomed for sure lol
  • My favorite villains/antagonists have to be Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lamb, Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds and Darth Vader from Star Wars
  • Zeref from Fairy Tail.
Have faith in the Lord Fifth, gain eternal life! When the Lord Fifth appears, who dares to cause strife!

Gate of Babylon is certainly one of the coolest abilities i've ever seen (even it's name is awesome), Gilgamesh basically collected all the treasures in the world, including the Artifacts of the other heroes, like Excalibur or Caladbolg, and can use any of them at his convenience. He's the most powerful of the Heroes, but he died because he underestimated his enemy.

But you did forget to mention Enuma Elish on his abilities. The guy has a weapon that is called "World Destroyer" and it's name is not just for show. He just never used it at full power.
