Does cultivation level affecting the body and bloodline?

In several story I read, if one cultivator reach a certain level before having a children, the offspring will easily level up or born with extraordinary ability until reaching the said cultivator level.

For example: If the cultivator reach level 9 and having a kid, the kid will easily reach level 8 at a young age or probably born with level 5 power at birth but will having difficulty to reach the same level as his/her progenitor and must train harder to level up further.

I wonder if reaching a higher level change the cultivator body at genetic level and awakening the bloodline.

  • Think of it as inheriting talent. An example been if your parents or ancestors are more spirituality in tuned and can see ghost, chances are you can too as they have unlocked that door for you or at least weaken that barrier of limitation somewhat, so think of them acting as more of a key(If that makes any sense). It is believed the talented will give birth to the talented.
  • bloodline and cultivation level are closely connected.  for beasts, there is normally an original super powerful ancestor that sired the entire species.  think like some true divine dragon with pure dragon bloodline.  now all of his offspring will have divine blood as well and will be born super powerful and get strong fast, however since they depend on their bloodline they will never be stronger than their ancestor since their blood will never be as pure.  after thousands of years and countless generations of crossbreeding with lesser species you have some snake that has a bit of dragon bloodline.  this snake will have a hard cap on his strength based on the purity of his bloodline.  the stronger the bloodline, the stronger the creature.

as for cultivators, it's different because their kids strength is based purely on their bloodline.  it's possible for some trash cultivators to give birth to a genius with crazy pure bloodline because it's a novel and more interesting that way.  you can also look at it like recessive genes if you want a more scientific explanation (like a kid having blue eyes when both parents have brown eyes).  these kids will cultivate at an insane pace and be stronger than most at the same cultivation level but they will again never be as strong as the founder.  this is because their blood will never be as pure as the founders and since they are following in the founders footsteps they will never surpass him.

if you ignore bloodline and just pick 2 strong cultivators then there is generally no rule about their kid having any advantages.  there are countless novels where the MC has strong parents but is a trash that gets killed pathetically and has his body taken over by someone reincarnating, or has zero talent until finding some cheat item.

you are right but one thing your mistaking is by saying they will never be as strong or stronger than the founder due to there bloodline not being pure. there are many stories with mc who have ancestors with powerful bloodline but don't just rely on their bloodline but through hard work luck and there own capabilities to go even further beyond. only an arrogant fool who puts all his attention into believing his bloodline is the most important will forever be stuck below his blood source level but for someone who doesn't rely solo on it work hard enough, they will break past that wall.
